INTER-ARENA MEMORANDUM:
Effective immediately, the Fox Broadcasting Company is terminating the popular American Gladiators television program. This may come as a shock to most of you, but the head executives are determined to end the series before things get out of hand.
Recently, we recruited a new Gladiator named 'Tungsten Carbide.' During rehearsals, he proved to be tougher than we anticipated. He's virtually scratch and dent proof. While sparring, Tungsten Carbide (or 'TC' for short) has accidentally injured our entire cast of Gladiators, one by one. He dislocated Turbo's shoulder, he crushed several of Ice's vertebrae, and he put Laser into a coma. Without an adequate number of functional Gladiators, we've got no chance at a seventh season.
Let's not get too saddened. It's been a good run. We've still got the Nintendo endorsements and the memories. Speaking of which, remember the time when Siren pummeled that firefighter during the Joust? My sides still ache with laughter.
